Case: River Basin Delta Tool

Sometimes, it all comes together: a great client, a fascinating topic and a dream team of specialists. For the PBL Planbureau voor de Leefomgeving I developed the River Basin Delta Tool.

With this tool, we show how river and delta systems work under different scenarios, and how we can bend the trend towards a more sustainable future.

Rivers and deltas are key systems that form the arteries of the earth, from the mountains to the sea, providing a multitude of opportunities for addressing global sustainability challenges.

I was more than happy to once again collaborate with Wilfried Ten Brinke on storylines and Dennis Bunskoek and his team on development. Together, we combined content, design and technology in a website packed with interactive (data) visualisations on rivers and deltas.
